*About the Role* Salon Dain is a premium luxury hair studio in Forest Hill specializing in colour, extensions, and cuts. We are looking for a Junior Stylist or Apprentice who is serious about their craft, ready to build a clientele, and committed to growing long-term within a boutique studio in one of Toronto's highest-demand neighbourhoods. This is not a revolving-door position. We are investing in the right person and we expect the same commitment in return. *What You'll Be Doing* * Start with foundational services ? shampooing and blowdrying * Assist our senior stylist with colour and extension services * Grow into independent cutting, colouring and extensions as your skills develop * Consult with clients and recommend home-care products tailored to their needs * Make sure every client leaves happy ? from the moment they walk in to the moment they walk out * Keep your station and the salon clean, organized, and guest-ready * Help with booking, payments, and day-to-day front desk tasks as needed * Build and maintain your own professional social media presence *Who You Are* * Graduate of a hairstyling program ? required. No salon experience needed; recent graduates welcome * Eligible to register as an Ontario hairstylist apprentice, or already registered * Passionate about hair, fashion, and creating a great guest experience * A team player ? positive, drama-free, and genuinely easy to work with * Reliable, punctual, and accountable ? you do what you say you'll do * Eager to learn and take direction without ego * Detail-oriented and committed to doing things properly * Client-first mindset ? their satisfaction is always the priority * Active work Instagram or portfolio that showcases your work is an asset *What We Offer* * From $17.60/hr + tips * Employee discount on salon products * On-site parking * Hands-on mentorship and structured growth in a luxury boutique environment * A real opportunity to build your clientele in one of Toronto's most sought-after neighbourhoods Pay: From $17.60 per hour Experience: * Hair styling: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
