Heavy Equipment Field Technician *SIGNING BONUS - $2500 T&A APPLY * North Arm Equipment is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Terrace, BC. We?re a *small, growing shop with a young crew* servicing heavy equipment throughout Northwest BC. We?re not a big dealership where you?re just another employee number. If you?re good at what you do, take pride in your work, and want room to grow with a company, there?s a lot of opportunity here. What You?ll Be Doing * Troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment in the field and shop * Working on excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, generators and other industrial equipment * Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical problems * Performing repairs, maintenance and component replacements * Using OEM diagnostic software, schematics and service information * Dealing directly with customers and getting their equipment back to work The work is varied. One day you might be diagnosing an excavator, the next you?re on an industrial site or heading out of town for a field repair. If you like figuring things out instead of doing the same job every day, you?ll fit in well here. Who We?re Looking For We?re looking for someone who: * Has solid heavy equipment repair experience * Can troubleshoot without needing their hand held * Takes pride in doing clean, professional work * Is comfortable working independently in the field * Has a valid driver?s licence * Works well with a small crew and pulls their weight Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is preferred, but we?ll consider experienced candidates who know their stuff.
