Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Grading. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Grader. Loader. Front end loader. Area of work experience: Demolition. Excavation. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
