If so, our permanent, full-time Survey Technician II position may be a great fit for you. The Survey Technician position operates all instruments including GPS, field data recorders, electronic survey and conventional survey equipment at various locations across the City. This position collaboratively works with many different divisions in the City to support City infrastructure projects. If this sounds like a career that interests you, please apply today for this great opportunity!The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:Completion of a two-year course in civil engineering or drafting/survey technology. Minimum of two years' experience in municipal construction or legal survey. BC Driver's Licence - Class 5 or equivalent. For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position.
