Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Retirement home. Tasks: Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Immunization records. Vulnerable sector check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationMarkham, ON
